After dropping 19-track project The Meth Lab on Friday, Method Man drops the video for lead single "Straight Gutta." Like the song, the video carries many hallmarks of the New York old school, as Meth links up with Redman and Wu-Tang affiliates Hanz On & Streetlife to spit their bars directly for the camera. Redman's verse is particularly entertaining on account of his always impressive rapping ability and his "Reg-gie!" trucker hat.
Album standout "The Purple Tape" feat Raekwon & Inspectah Deck promises to be a fiery video, hopefully that's next up on the docket. And after that, a Wu-Tang biopic.
