The Wu-Tang Clan will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their classic debut album Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) this November. While there have been mixed reports as to whether the Clan will release a new album this year to celebrate the occasion, most recently from Raekwon and Ghostface, Method Man announced at a recent show that there will in fact be a new Wu album, and it will definitely be dropping in 2013.
"We got the Wu-Tang anniversary album comin up, we working on that now, some nice treats on there" said Meth at his recent birthday show in LA. He also added that we could expect the group effort "this year, this fuckin' year".
We've yet to hear confirmation from any other Killa Bees, so we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed that Meth's announcement is for real.
