Kanye West’s style choices have been outlandish for a while now, a staple of his wardrobe since the Yeezus era has been t shirts of punk and metal bands. While most bands have remained silent on the trend of rappers wearing punk and metal band tees, one band spoke out after seeing Yeezy wearing one of their shirts.
Cradle of Filth are a popular metal band (over 2 million Facebook likes), but after seeing Kanye West wearing their shirt, the band felt the need to hop on Facebook and write, “Kanye West. Cradle of Filth fan. Fortunately not a collaborator.”
It might be a stretch to say that Kanye is a Cradle of Filth fan, since many rappers have said that the shirts they wear are all for aesthetic. Either way, the two definitely won’t be working together anytime soon after the band dissed ‘Ye. The post has since created a bit of a comment war between fans of the two artists.
