Mercedes-AMG has revealed a sneak-peek of the latest version of their G63 model. This off-road vehicle introduces a new drive system while also making use of the brand's patented AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension. Other updates include an AMG-specific transmission mode, a brand new interior with a widescreen cockpit, as well as a 576 horsepower 4.0-litre bi-turbo engine.
This iteration of the G63 model also comes equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, a new radiator grill and wheel placements that will allow for up to 22-inch tires.
CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmBH Tobias Moers notes how "the new AMG G63 brings driving performance to the segment of unadulterated off-road vehicles in unexpected form. It was important for us to tie in with the original character on account of the cult status the G63 enjoys with our customers and fans."
The Mercedes-AMG will first be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6 in advance of its March 18 release to retailers. Peep some images of the vehicle below:
