Memorial Day Weekend Recap: Nicki Minaj, Game, Big Sean & More Hit Up Las Vegas

The long weekend festivities haven't ended just yet, with many people, rappers included, planning to barbecue and relax for their extra day off. A lot of hip-hop artists have sent out tweets and social postings in remembrance of fallen soldiers and those currently fighting for the U.S., and these same artists have updated us with what they've been doing all weekend. 

A lot of the fun went down in Las Vegas over the weekend, with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Diddy, Meek Mill, YG, Big Sean and more all hitting up various Vegas parties. Of course, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's wedding probably stole the show, but here we're highlighting what else rappers and friends got up to over the long weekend.

Game's long weekend adventures began in Dallas, Texas, where he invited fifteen lucky ladies (and fans) out for dinner plus partying afterwards. "#FanAppreciation Dinner for 20 of my coolest fans on me..... " he wrote on Instagram. This afternoon he made his return to the West Coast with his Red Octobers in tow, and announced he was ready for Memorial Day festivities (aka food) to begin. "Ok Dallas..... It was real. Now back home to figure out where the food at ?!?!?"

What do you think Wiz Khalifa has been doing? Getting high and tweeting about his new 28 Grams mixtape. Duh. 

Oh yeah, he also revealed he met Nas for the first time yesterday. That's definitely a nice way to kick off Memorial Day.

Nicki Minaj kicked off her Memorial Day weekend by hosting a pool party at LIQUID in Las Vegas. She posted plenty of Instagram photos for all the thirsty fans out there. She also connected with Diddy, Cassie, Big Seam and Riff Raff when she hit up Haze nightclub in Vegas. (she said of Riff: "This n*gg was high out his mind. "Allegedly" Lol. Pretty sure he followed me out the club.") Take a look at some of her Instagram photos recapping her weekend activities above.

Big Sean definitely had a good weekend, he not only flew to Paris, France for Kanye West & Kim Kardashian's over-the-top wedding, but he also hosted at Haze nightclub in Vegas. As we saw thanks to Nicki, he met up with the first lady of YMCMB (and Riff Raff too). Take a look at his Instagram flicks from Yeezy's wedding and from the nightclub above.

Las Vegas was the place to be this weekend. Meek Mill also had hosting duties in Vegas, although he was at a different club than our friends Big Sean & Nicki Minaj. Meek hit up TW Theatre with YG and Teyana Taylor, where he was photographed with Diddy, among others. Diddy hosted an after party in his penthouse, which Teyana posted photos of with the capiton, "Diddy penthouse after party badbitches only hannnnn."

Diddy seemed to be just about everywhere this weekend (at least, he was all around Vegas), taking flicks with Meek Mill, YG, Nicki Minaj, his girlfriend Cassie, and lots of bikini-clad women with carefully placed bottles of liquor (Ciroc/DeLeon tequila, obviously). It appears as though Drake had a low-key weekend chilling as his Yolo Estate in Los Angeles. The Canadian rapper posted a photo of himself getting out of the pool with the caption, "live from the crib." He also posted a pic of himself playing video games, with the hookah nearby. Brandon Jennings rolled through last night, tweeting that the two were shooting hoops at 3 AM. Not a bad way to spend the weekend.

After a brief trip to Detroit, Action Bronson, like most of us, plans to get his BBQ on today. The rapper ran into both Lil Debbie and Riff Raff over the weekend, and posed for flicks with both rappers.

BBQ tmrw for sure. Beef ribs on deck.

Vic Mensa also has a BBQ lined up for today. The rapper was snapped kicking it with J. Cole and Bas (yup, in Vegas), and after spending the weekend relaxing (he even took a selfie mid-massage) it sounds like he'll be doing a bit more relaxing this afternoon.

ScHoolboy Q is currently spending Memorial Day weekend overseas. The rapper tweeted about his arrival in Ireland, and also got to venting about some creepy ass fans.
