According to a report by TMZ, Mel B is currently under criminal investigation after Dujuan Thomas, a male model, went to police with reports that Mel B physically assaulted him.
Thomas is said to have first met the Spice Girl and former America's Got Talent judge backstage at a fashion show that he had walked in that she attended. The first instance of assault reportedly occurred after Mel B obliged to Thomas' request for a picture, but proved to be unenthusiastic Thomas' follow up request to take another one because he was not pleased with how the photograph had turned out. Thomas alleges that Mel B responded to his request for a second photograph by striking him in the chest.
Sources told TMZ that the second instance of assault took place when Thomas met Mel at the same hotel where the fashion show took place later in that night. Upon recognizing Thomas, Mel B allegedly struck him in the chest again. Video footage obtained by the publication shows Mel B in the hotel hallway, accompanied by friends before recognizing Thomas and becoming seemingly confrontational. It seems Thomas did not sustain any injuries from his encounters with Mel B and did not seek any medical attention.
