Meek is sitting on some heat.

The stars have aligned for Meek Mill, who seems to have rediscovered his edge overnight. After being dubbed the "voice of the streets" by Rick Ross (who has been missing from the game for a minute), Meek seems positioned for a second-coming of sorts, starting with his upcoming album. Though he originally teased a surprise drop, the cat swiftly leaped from the bag, and Meek's upcoming endeavor feels like an open secret; for one, we know it's coming, possibly in a matter of weeks. And while last year's Wins & Losses was more or less met with acclaim, it feels like Meek's newfound hunger will translate into his most electric project to date.

Taking to Instagram, Meek previewed an upcoming banger, which finds him taking to some sinister, gothic organs; though no producer tag is audible, it feels entirely possible that Tay Keith had his fingertips on this one, given his affinity for those sonic aesthetics. In any case, that's purely speculation, and should be treated as such. Regardless of who laced it, the beat is flames, and Meek Mill is rapping accordingly. Whenever this one ends up dropping, it's going to be a certifiable banger.
