Ever since Nicki Minaj posted a picture of a huge, heart-shaped rock for the whole world to see, rumors of an engagement to Meek Mill have been passed around with little in the way of actual confirmation from either camps. Today, we get a straight-up answer from Meek in his new Fader cover story: they're not actually engaged.

Speaking on his relationship with Minaj, the Dreamchaser said, “It’s definitely real, but it ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.”

The story also includes mention of a run-in with T.I., who seemed a little less convinced that Meek and Minaj aren't getting married:

“'I ain’t engaged,' Meek says sheepishly, but T.I. isn’t having any of it. 'You never asked her, ‘Will you be my girlfriend?’ But she is your girlfriend,' he says. 'You may not have asked her, ‘Will you marry me?’ But you are engaged.' Meek shrugs, unable to argue with this logic. 'I’ve said my part,' T.I. says, backing away with his hands up. 'As long as you know what’s going on.'”

Probably a wise move, as the pair had only been dating a little while before the engagement news popped up, but it's sure to cause some waves in the press.
