If you thought McDonald's was cheap, it's about to get cheaper.
McDonald's is looking to beat out all the other fast food chains who are seemingly striving with their dollar menus. In an effort to stay on top, McDon will be introducing its dollar menu at the top of the New Year with $1, $2 and $3 options.
The new menu, that will be available on January 4th, 2018, will feature any size soft drink and cheeseburger for $1, small McCafe drinks and bacon McDoubles for $2 and Happy Meals and triple cheeseburgers for $3.
McDonald's had a similar menu offering back in 2013 but dropped it after they weren't gaining much revenue by selling their double cheeseburgers at such a low price. The reintroduction of the Dollar Menu looks to beat out other competition such as Taco Bell, Dunkin' Donuts, Shake Shack and Five Guys.
