Have you ever traveled to another country and discovered that McDonald's literally rules the world? I've been to Germany, Japan, France, Mexico, Thailand and a long list of other countries. No matter where you go, McDonald's is there... with great free WiFi by the way. Different country's McDonald's have different menus to satisfy the diversity of their clientele, while some even play up the fact that they originate from America and sell city themed burgers (the Grand Canyon Burger or the New York Burger for example). Now, a new McDonald's being opened in Chicago will be bringing those international tastes to their menu.

In a statement released by McDonald's, McDonald’s President and CEO Steve Easterbrook stated, "As part of our new headquarters, we wanted to provide our customers with an exciting way to experience our global menu right here in Chicago." The menu, which will rotate food from around the world to keep the menu fresh, will feature: The Mighty Angus Burger from Canada, The McSpicy Chicken Sandwich from Hong Kong, The Manhattan Salad from France, and The McFlurry Prestígio from Brazil among other international items.

If you're in the Chicago area, check out the 6,000-square-foot McDonald’s "Experience of the Future" restaurant. The new McDonald's initiative features "modern global-inspired interiors, an ever-changing wall map with Golden Arches that illuminate when an item from a specific country is featured on the menu, outdoor seating for patrons to enjoy in the warmer months, enhanced customer experiences with table service, mobile order and payment and McDelivery with Uber Eats."

McDonald’s aims to update almost all of its U.S. restaurants to "Experience of the Future" by 2020.
