Houston's own Maxo Kream is one of the few rappers who's delivering authentic and refreshing street rap. Earlier this month, he released his debut album, Punken, and he's slated to have a big 2017 ahead of him. We recently caught up with Kream where he gave us a bit of knowledge of maneuvering through the trap with his 5 Trap Commandments.
Maxo Kream recently made a pit stop at our offices where he gave us some knowledge of the rules of trapping, well at least his version of it. The rapper drops the five essential rules to conducting yourself in the street, both safely and fairly, much like Biggie did on the "10 Crack Commandments," and in actuality, rule number five might sound familiar.
"Rule number five, never lay your head where your stash at, you know what I'm saying? Can't mix business with pleasure. Always keep that separate, you know what I'm saying?" he said.
With each rule, Maxo also explains the repercussions that'll possibly occur if you don't follow the Five Trap Commandments.
Maxo has a major year ahead of him. He kicked off 2018 on a strong note with his latest album and prior to that, he was hopping on tracks with people like Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi Vert. With an official project under his belt, hopefully we'll see him on tour this year.
