It's been awhile since we heard from Indianapolis-residing rapper Mathaius Young. He first hit the HNHH radar with the absolutely fire "Go" featuring Drayco McCoy, and quickly proved that wasn't fluke by way of "Broke the Rim" featuring Tre Capital and Ibn Inglor. Today, as he announces the release date for a project that's been in the works, he gives us the solo cut "All I Know."
Mathaius, who also produces like 99% of the shit he raps on, worked with a few co-producers on this Dauphin Amir, Alley Burlon and Yakiv all helped make this tumultuous record what it is. Starting out with a distorted synths weaving back and forth, Mathaius quickly heads into his head-nodding hook which should be motivational for anyone who's on their grind. Drums stay thumping in the background while Mathaius slurs his flow, imagining, or rather, stating his impending come-up.
