PlayStation owners rejoice, because you are about to receive the best Marvel video game ever created. That's right, Xbox and Nintendo owners will miss out on the game that looks better than X-Men: Legends, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Marvel's Spider-Man is only a few weeks away from launch, and developer Insomniac Games is showing off the gorgeous environments in the game.

Insomniac Games has released a gameplay trailer that highlights the open world aspect in Marvel's Spider-Man. Both the Avengers Tower and Dr. Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum make quick appearances in the game, confirming that the Avengers are not far away. The freedom Spider-Man has to swing around the city is very reminiscent of the Batman Arkham series, and this appears to be Marvel's move to dethrone the Batman games as the best superhero titles on the market.

In the latest trailer, J. Jonah Jameson narrates from the point of view of a radio host. He explains his distrust and dislike for Spider-Man in a way that allows the gameplay to move with his words. For example, when he complains about Spider-Man doing backflips and swinging around the city, the trailer cuts to scenes of the hero doing just that.
