Marshawn Lynch powered the Oakland Raiders to a 24-17 victory over the New York Giants yesterday afternoon, as he rushed for over 101 yards including a 51-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Sunday marked the first time Marshawn had gone over 100 rushing yards since October of 2015.

After the game, Lynch had no time to speak with reporters about his 100+ rushing yards because he was selected for a random drug test.

Here's how he put it, per ESPN,

“I’m sorry, though, look,” Lynch said, holding up the paper. “It’s either this, or that, and I can’t afford that. I apologize. But if you do not understand what this is, it’s when you put your ding-ding sauce out and give them a sample.”

The 31-year old running back, whether he's speaking to the media or not, continues to be one of the most entertaining athletes in all of sports and is truly the gift that keeps on giving.

In addition to his entertainment value, Lynch is also starting to produce on the field as Raiders fans had hoped heading into this season. According to ESPN, Marshawn has more rushing yards in the past four games (292, on 68 carries) than he had in the previous eight. Furthermore, he now has four touchdowns in his past four games.

At 6-6 the Oakland Raiders are still very much in the AFC playoff picture, and are right in the running for the AFC West division title. Having won their last two games, Marshawn and the Raiders will look to keep rolling next Sunday when they take on the 6-6 Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
