Mark Wahlberg is expanding his acumen to infiltrate the gambling industry, after having conquered the entertainment realm with an arsenal of hit blockbusters and critically-acclaimed films.

The actor is investing in a new business venture, a casino/hotel located in Atlantic City, which is one of the largest gambling destinations in all of America. The resort will take the place of Revel, which went bankrupt back in 2012. Businessman Bruce Deifik is pumping $175 million into renovating the once-vacant spot, and will come replete with an outpost of Wahlburgers, as well as HQ, a nightclub with a capacity of 1,200.

Wahlberg is hoping this new entertainment complex will be a resounding success, and is looking to the holy powers above to ensure longevity and prosperity. The All the Money in the World actor brought forth a priest to walk around the space and bless it with holy water and prayers.

Wahlberg attends church regularly, and reportedly made a donation to the restoration of St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church out of gratitude for having his casino blessed by an ordained priest.
