Margot Robbie is keeping busy. The gorgeous and talented actress became a household name after she captured the world's attention in The Wolf Of Wall Street. Then, she continued to earn our admiration with roles in Focus alongside Will Smith, Suicide Squad as Harley Quinn, and I, Tonya, which earned her an Oscar nod. Now, according to VarietyRobbie is in talks to star in a live-action Barbie movie.

Robbie does look like a Barbie doll after all. The Barbie film was originally supposed to be an adult comedy starring Amy Schumer, but she dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. Mattel's popular doll is a worldwide icon. Barbie is to young girls, what action-figures are to young boys growing up across the world. Barbie is iconic enough the celebrities wish to impersonate her (think Nicki Minaj), and one model even got enough plastic surgery to transform into Barbie.

Margot Robbie is also set to produce the film, which has yet to be picked up by a film studio. It is unclear if Mattel is going to stick with the adult comedy aspect of the film, or if they will aim for a younger audience now that a new actress is involved.
