During the third quarter of Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals last night, Celtics forward Marcus Morris took Tristan Thompson off the dribble and converted a layup while getting fouled, giving Boston a chance to tie the game at 69. Nice.

The crowd at the TD Garden erupted after the bucket and as the two fell down on the baseline, Morris sat up and let out a passionate scream right in Thompson's face. Then, a meme was born.

“I tried to get the crowd into it, man. Get it going,” Morris said following Boston's 107-94 win. “I think that’s what changed in the third quarter. I think our energy went through the roof, and it was hard (for the Cavs) to come back from that.”

Morris, who finished with 12 points and five rebounds, converted the free throw to tie the game and the Celtics began to pull away shortly afterward. As he noted, the energy went through the roof.

Naturally, the screenshot of Morris roaring in Thompson's ear quickly became a meme, which included several references to his infidelity.
