A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting which occurred outside a venue where Trae Tha Truth was performing.
Trae Tha Truth was among five injured during a shooting in Texas at the end of June, and three others suffered fatal injuries. Shots were fired outside a Houston night club, where Trae was performing.
At the time of the shooting, police were uncertain what sparked the incident, but now a man has been arrested in conjunction with the shooting.
Reports say that police arrested a 25 year-old man, Feanyichi Uvukansi, on July 4th, although supposedly he was suprised to be a suspect, despite previous drug and assault charges.
The three people who were killed in the shooting included, Coy "Poppa C" Thompson, 23, Erica Rochelle Dotson, 30, and Carlos Durell Dorsey, 31. Trae got a bullet in his shoulder.
Poppa C, who was an affiliate of Trae, was involved in a domestic dispute three days prior to the shooting, and police say this may have been the cause of the shooting-- others caught gunfire which was meant to be for Poppa C.
Uvukansi is currently being held without bail.
