Earlier today, a 24 year-old from suburban Boston was arrested in connection with a letter that was sent to Donald Trump Jr. containing a mysterious white substance that turned out to be cornstarch; crisis averted.

The letter, which was postmarked from Boston on February 7, resulted in Trump's wife Vanessa seeking immediate medical attention upon opening it at her mother's Upper East Side residence.

The Boston Globe reports that Daniel Frisiello was eventually arrested on federal charges of mailing threats to injure and providing false information and hoaxes.

Speaking in a news conference, U.S Attorney Andrew E. Lelling warns that such hoaxes "scare the heck out of people," following a series of anthrax-related letters that eventually killed 5 people. Additionally, Peter Kowenhoven, an assistant special agent in charge of the FBI Boston office, warns how "there are plenty of appropriate, lawful ways to express your opinions and voice your displeasure."

In the letter, Frisiello had some particularly scathing words for the outspoken son of the president, writing "You are an awful, awful person. I am surprised that your father lets you speak on TV. You’re the family idiot. Eric looks smart. This is the reason why people hate you. You are getting what you deserve. So shut the f–k UP," adding how he's the "family idiot."

Frisiello will appear in court later today to face charges of sending threatening letters to Trump, Sen. Debbie Stabenow, and three others.
