Kanye West's discography is pretty much perfect. Aside from some shotty inclusions this year, he will easily go down as one of the greatest of all time. When 808s & Heartbreak dropped in 2008, people weren't so sure how to react to it. It was different from anything he had ever undertaken and many were hoping for a return to College Dropout or Late Registration Ye. Instead, a new era was ushered in that would influence artists like Drake to explore a new vibe. One decade after the album saw the light of day, major contributor Malik Yusef has decided to bring it on tour, but there's a catch: Kanye West is not involved at all.

In a press release, it was announced that Malik Yusef would be touring 808s & Heartbreak to celebrate the special anniversary. The G.O.O.D. Music artist will be hitting fifteen large markets in the United States as he's set to emcee the entire run. Instead of Ye, Malik is offering a unique opportunity for local talents to show off how much the album means to them. "Any musicians have the ability to be a part of the tour, as the musical acts will be curated through an open application audition," said Yusef. "Each artist or group will perform songs from the 808s & Heartbreak album in their own style, paying tribute to Kanye West's original tracks."

The tour will be making stops in Los Angeles, NYC, Atlanta, Miami, and other cities with the exact application process being detailed at a later date. If 808s played a strong part in your musical development, this is your chance to show it off so you should definitely keep an eye on this.
