Malik Henry was one of the central figures on season 3 of Netflix's hugely popular "Last Chance U" series. The third season took a look at Independence Community College and their attempt to go from a zero to a hero in the Junior College ranks. Henry was often times seen as a villain on the series as he often disagreed with his teammates and coaches. Now the quarterback is going back to the NCAA to play with the Nevada Wolf Pack.

According to Nevada Sports Net, Wolf Pack head coach Jay Norvel commented on the Henry acquisition saying:

"He spent some time at junior college and probably has one last shot to get his career corrected and we're going to give that. We wanted to build an environment here at Nevada where we can train quarterbacks, where we can develop them fundamentally but also spiritually and mentally. I think that's what he needs. He need support. He needs a coaching staff that will love him and teach him how to do things the right way and in a system he can grow and develop, and that's something we feel like we have here at Nevada"

Henry will join the team officially next month and will be a walk-on which means the Wolf Pack assume no financial risk by taking him.
