South Bronx rapper Maliibu Miitch has been gaining momentum through tough-talking singles like "4AM" and "The Count." Her new track "Give Her Some Money" continues her trajectory of merging classic New York rap flows with a more modern energy. Last Summer, she spoke to Pitchfork about her approach to songwriting. "It’s probably going to sound crazy, but I actually don’t listen to the radio. That’s probably why my music is like that. The music I did listen to was 50 Cent. I was obsessed with Jadakiss and the Lox. So why can’t I jump on a modern song with the same rap flow?" There's no doubt that the approach works, and "Giver Her Some Money" is one of the most immediate of her tracks, its titular phrase demanding to be quoted everywhere from the strip club to Instagram captions. Signed to Atlantic, it seems likely Mitch will be releasing a proper project in the near future. Look out for it.

Quotable Lyrics:
Diddy boppin', pussy poppin'
On the haze there like a rocket
On my socket like a plug
Broke n***as, that's a dub
Stack it high on the low
Move a 100 how I roll
Keep it milly how I rock
In a booth on any block
