Riff Raff puts his weird but potent associative powers to work on "2 Cup (Double Theme)," saying shit only Riff Raff would say like, "Purple rain on my diamonds, aquaberryfist." With a minimalist trap beat, the song is pretty low-key by Major Lazer standards.
The video though is fun and creative as hell, kind of reminiscent of an episode of "Adventure Time," letting the rest of us know what Riff Raff (the self-proclaimed "Codeine Scientist") feels like when he's sipping on that codeine. Shoutout out to director/animator Jeremy Sengly.
The track will NOT be featured on Major Lazer's upcoming album Peace Is The Mission (due out next month, but we're just glad Diplo and co. let the world marinade in the snazzy animation of "2 Cup."
