"Cue 06" is a new instrumental single from elusive hip-hop maestro Madlib, included on the soundtrack to Stones Throw Records' new auto-documentary Our Vinyl Weighs A Ton, which is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray (with the soundtrack included) here.
The doc is composed of unreleased archival footage, "inner-circle" home videos and photographs, rare concert footage and revelatory interviews with Stones Throw artists. Watch the official trailer below.
The record in question is quintessential Madlib, the dusty, blunted beat accentuated by airy strings, horns and informed soul and funk samples. Can you dig it?
