One of the improbably highlights of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's sophomore album This Unruly Mess I've Made was "Dance Off," a silly yet moderately banging ode to the dance floor showdown. It didn't hurt that the song featured Idris Elba and Anderson .Paak.
This week, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis delivered the "Dance Off" music video this week shortly after performing the track on "Ellen." Macklemore moves from a wedding in a hotel ballroom to the hotel restaurant, gym, and adjacent mall, in each place bearing witness to and/or participating in an impromptu dance competition.
Sadly, the Anderson .Paak portion of the song was cut from the video. Still, this video is surprisingly lit. Idris Elba steals the show in the first two seconds.
