A remastered version of Mac Miller's "Macadelic" is officially available for streaming.
Mac Miller's absence has been noted. Taking a respite to presumably play roles of husband aspirant to longtime sweetheart Ariana Grande, Mac has left fans with a cliffhanger by way of The Divine Feminine. A softer departure from the epic Watching Movies With The Sound Off, Faces, Good AM run, Mac's newfound appreciation for hopeless romanticism was a marked shift in character. One can't help but be happy with the young rapper, who found love in a hopeless place. Still, we certainly lament his departure from the game, and eagerly await his triumphant return.
It would appear today has marked that occasion, at least, sort of. Mac Miller has recently uploaded his fan-favorite Macadelic mixtape onto streaming services, marking the first time his breakout tape has been available on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and the like. The 2012 project featured appearances from Lil Wayne, Cam’ron, Kendrick Lamar, Casey Veggies and Joey Badass; truly a star-studded roster for the young Pittsburgh native.
The gesture was appreciated by his fanbase, who have undoubtedly grown accustomed to consuming music through their favorite streaming platforms. Hopefully, Mac will continue this trend and make Faces available next up. In the meantime, revisit Macadelic, and stay tuned for more news on the upcoming Mac Miller album, whenever it may surface.
