Mac Miller's getting ready for the release of his new album, Swimming this Friday. The rapper initially announced the project in early July and followed it with the release of his songs, "Self-Care" and "What's The Use?" Swimming marks the first album from Mac since 2016's The Divine Feminine. Today, he gets ready for the release of his new album with a little freestyle called "Inertia
Mac Miller comes through with a little loosie to hold us over before Swimming arrives in its entirety this Friday. The rapper's latest track comes with a visual accompaniment that shows him in the studio as he plays around with his keyboard and tests the microphone before going in. While the last two tracks that Mac Miller's released has showed off his musicality but with "Inertia," he flexes his bars.
Aside from his little loose freestyle, the rapper recently announced his Swimming tour. The rapper's upcoming tour is set to kick off towards the end of October before concluding in early December. The rapper will be joined alongside J.I.D and Thundercat -- both artists who've contributed to Mac Miller's forthcoming project. Thundercat also contributed bass to "Inertia."
I'm the moon to the sun, how I birth ya
Turn ya, back to your old ways, reverse ya
Curse ya, witchcraft
You get nothin' but a whole lot of nothin' with yo' mothafuckin' bitch ass
