Houston Rapper Lyric Michelle has premiered a beautiful video via Noisey for her song “Directions” featuring Fat Tony.
The two artists split each verse, and harmonize on the chorus. The track is a relationship struggles track, with each emcee expressing their gender’s viewpoint. Maps and directions are used a metaphor for losing each other within a relationship.
Ron West did quadruple duty on the video, doing all direction, filming, editing, and post-productions coloring. The man clearly knows what he’s doing, because the video is vibrant and fun to watch despite not having a ton of movement.
