It's been a little since we've received a full-length project from lyricist Lupe Fiasco, but such tidings are about to change. Following up last year's Drogas Light, Lupe has come through to round out the trilogy with Drogas Wave. Anticipated by devotees and casual fans alike, many recognize the simple fact that a Lupe Fiasco album is a welcome addition to a year in which lyricists truly took back the spotlight. Now, thanks to detective work from the minds over at HHNM, we officially have the album cover, tracklist, and release date.

First things first: the album is reportedly set to drop on September 28th, with US pre-orders popping off tonight. Lupe looks to handle the bulk of the project flying solo, though guest appearances from vocalists Nikki Jean, Damian Marley, Crystal Torres, Elena Pindehughes and more will imbue the project with a melodic vibe. Fans will be happy to note the long-awaited inclusion of "Stack That Cheese," a quintessential moment of Lupe lore.
