It looks like Lupe Fiasco is back at war again with Atlantic Records.

Yesterday, Lupe took to his Instagram account to reveal that a new mixtape is on the way. Lu revealed that Atlantic Records was not letting him release his album, Tetsuo & Youth, until he releases a pop-friendly single, so in true Lupe form, he announced that he's going to put out a new mixtape first out of spite called Lost In The Atlantic Ocean. Interestingly enough however, Lupe deleted the comment 15 minutes after posting the comment, but luckily the good folks at LupEND caught it.

To coincide with this announcement, Lupe decided to preview a new song featuring Nikki and produced by Soundtrak which you can hear below.

Before his post was deleted yesterday, Lupe's caption on Instagram read…

"ATLANTIC RECORDS won’t release the album until they get a “pop” single…so putting together a mini-project while they find one for me. It’s called “Lost In The Atlantic Ocean” with a bunch of my friends to stay active and happy…this a snippet called “Lilies” feat Sirah produced by The Buchannons…finishing today…"

Note that this tape isn't entirely confirmed, but it's very likely the case. We'll keep you updated if more comes of this.
