With Kanye West making a surprise appearance at Chicago’s AAHH! Fest Sunday night, just about everyone else’s set went quietly unnoticed, minus Common’s "Kingdom" remix performance featuring Jay Electronica. Well, it turns out that Lupe Fiasco was also a part of this great event, and decided to not only run through his hits, but treat the crowd to a dope freestyle over Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like” instrumental.
Witty as always, Lupe goes off the top here and murders this freestyle, while referencing several Chicago artists & slang within his rhymes, including GBE, OTF, Chief Keef, Lil Durk, Bop Movement, Young Chop, and D Rose. He even ends the freestyle by throwing some slight shade at Drizzy Drake. He raps,
“Nigga I don’t write, freestyle shit I don’t write/ When I’m in the booth, sometimes bitch I don’t write/ It’s off the top, when I drop I don’t write/ No Blackberry Drake shit either, I don’t write!”
