Chicago's Lucki Eck$ dropped a highly successful, though still overly slept-on, mixtape, Body High, last August, and he's been dropping hot loosies ever since. On his latest, "What I Wanna", he steps away from the "pussy poppin' raps" of "Cholos" for something deeper and more introspective.
Lucki Eck$ makes drug-imbued tunes--that's not gonna change whether he's making a banger or not, but "What I Wanna" finds him swimming down a K-hole, losing his voice (and his mind) within the span of the two-minute track. In the end, his problems wither away in this beautifully simple, and ephemeral, production.
