This weekend, Chicago's Lucki Eck$ followed up last year's druggy, underrated Body High tape with X, another project that takes us down the rabbit hole with the prodigious 19-year-old. This time around, Eck$ produced a few tracks on his own (under the guise of "Lucki X"), including "Bird Gang," which get a video today.
Clad in a Kurt Cobain t-shirt, Lucki roams through a residential street, absentmindedly pulling on a cigarette and looking out on all of the neighborhood kids frolicking. Over the chopped and screwed organ lick that fuels the track, he falls into a comfortable, hypnotic rhythm that persists throughout the entire track.
