Lou Phelps links with brother Kaytranada & Jazz Cartier for "Come Inside" video.
Throw this one up for Montreal, the True North where Haitians reside. Had to make that connection for my friends on the isle. Lou Phelps of the Celestics plays Talk Show Host in his new music video "Come Inside." A series of local friends and celebrities populate the set. With the lights dimmed they convert the space into an after-party, the main players tap into their reserves.
Lou and Jazz Cartier follow the fluidity of the bassline to a tee. Kaytranada's trademark bounce is discernible to the ears. In case you didn't know, Lou and Kaytra are siblings and have released two albums together as The Celestics. To his credit, Lou was up for Rap Recording of the Year at this year's Juno Awards, Canada's version of the Grammys. He ultimately lost out to Tory Lanez, who skates by on Caribbean roots just the same.
