"Mind Vs. Matter" is a choice selection from North Carolina musician L'Orange's new album The Orchid Days, featuring verses from Queens, New York poet Homeboy Sandman. He's chosen it as his latest single, also offering it to you good people for free in light of the coming apocalypse.
Like much of the album, this is some next-level jazz/hip-hop fusion, both sonically and lyrically. Enjoy it.
As previously mentioned, The Orchid Days is presented as "a love story set at the Earth's end", the music built around prohibition-era samples and "a solemn menagerie of drums". Predominantly instrumental, it includes other guest appearances from Blu, Jeremiah Jae, Billy Woods and more. Cop it here or via the iTunes link to the left.
"I drop good innuendo."
