Lonzo Ball went down with an ankle sprain in a game against the Houston Rockets back in January and ever since the Los Angeles Lakers sophomore has been out of the lineup. Ball has been playing some pretty good basketball this season and has been a force on the defensive side of the ball. His absence has hurt the Lakers this season and it is clear that he is pretty well needed as the Lakers approach the end of the regular season still looking for a playoff spot. Unfortunately for the Lakers, the team will be without Ball for at least another week, according to ESPN.

The point guard has a bone bruise which is what is keeping him off the court right now. As one of his high profile teammates said, he is definitely missed out on the court.

"We obviously miss another ball handler, another playmaker," LeBron James explained. "A guy that's very, very good defensively. With his ability to get a steal and pressure the offensive point guard and then push the pace for us, get into our early offense. So we miss that a lot."

The Lakers are currently ranked 10th in the Western Conference with a record of 30-31. They are three games back of a playoff spot.
