According to Logic, you've got to keep your head up.
Cue those #WednesdayWisdom messages.
Logic, everybody's favorite Everybody rapper, took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to share some uplifting advice to his fans and specifically to any and all independent artists out there.
Logic reminded everyone to "be yourself" and to remember that you're "awesome," even in the face of haters, labels and criticism. He admitted that, while art is made to engage subjective opinions, he mused that it's not about the love or hate but whether or not you're happy. Finally, he thanked everyone for the support surrounding his new album and said that his whole movement is "beyond music" and is really about "identity and happiness."
Everybody is currently the No. 1 album in the United States.
You can view his Twitter monologue below.
Be yourself! As the world tells you that you aren't good enough, or tries to label you or your art. Just remember your awesome!— Rap Larry David (@Logic301) May 17, 2017
Also my fellow artists out there, wether people love or hate what you put into the world remember that's what art is, it's loved or hated— Rap Larry David (@Logic301) May 17, 2017
And also remember that it doesn't matter how much love or hate you get. All that matter is that you're happy. Because that's what matters!— Rap Larry David (@Logic301) May 17, 2017
And with that being said I am so happy I have the #1 album in the country thru such a positive message! And I'm happy I was just myself!— Rap Larry David (@Logic301) May 17, 2017
