Logic's had one hell of a year. After building a loyal fanbase over the years with his series of mixtapes and albums, his third album, Everybody struck gold in terms of mainstream success. He received two Grammy nominations this past year for "1-800-273-8255" and landed himself a several other awards for other songs. Earlier this year, he dropped off his new project Bobby Tarantino II which served as a sequel to his 2016 mixtape. Today, he releases a new video for a stand-out track off the album.
Logic returns with his new video for "Contra." The video is a shift for Logic in some ways. The video finds Logic cruising around in a BMW with a whole lot of cash in his car which ultimately flies into the streets. The video was directed by Mike Holland who's worked with Logic on several occasions. Logic doesn't necessarily flex like this so it's interesting to see him in this light.
Aside from his recent music video, the rapper recently embarked on the "Bobby Tarantino Vs. Everybody Tour." The tour started last week in Boston and is expected to conclude on August 3rd in St. Louis, Missouri. Logic tapped NF and Kyle as the openers for the tour.
