Locksmith may have just released his joint project with Apollo Brown entitled Questions this past Summer, but he keeps the fire coming with his latest effort, Ali. Locksmith's latest album further displays his lyrical ability. His fourth studio album runs for 15 tracks and features appearances by Murs, Jedi Mind Tricks' Vinnie Paz, and Jarren Benton.
“This is the album I wanted to make for a while but didn’t quite know how to,” Locksmith told HipHopDX. “I wanted to talk about the struggles my family had here in America: my father, an Iranian immigrant, and my mother, a black woman from the south, raising a young man in California and how that experience shaped my view on life.
