Eminem already has his Shade 45 radio station on Sirius XM, but the legendary rapper is hopping over to the Rock The Bells station for an exclusive new interview. The new Rock The Bells station was created by another legend in the game, LL Cool J. LL is launching a new show on his station called “The Influence of Hip-Hop," and Em will be the first guest on the series.
LL took to Twitter to announce the new show, which will debut on September 1 at 3 PM ET. "Take a journey with me into the mind and soul of @Eminem! He will be the first guest on my new radio show on @RockTheBellsSXM called “The Influence of Hip-Hop," wrote LL in the tweet. He completed the announcement with a short snippet of the interview.
"It takes courage to say certain things. Where does that come from? How did you develop that?" asks LL in the snippet. "Part of it was just going through my own experiences in life. You know, and the other part was watching everyone else. My homework was hip-hop," answers Em. "I didn't go to school, I would rather just rap. So, that's pretty much all I did so, watching you, Run DMC, The Beastie Boys, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Masta Ace." Check out the snippet below.
