The song comes from the Baltimore rapper's new project "Tate Ko."

Tate Kobang, an underrated but incredibly inventive rapper from Baltimore, shared his new project Tate Ko, earlier this week. The varied album is chock full of interesting experiments, including collaborations with Swizz Beatz and Young Money Yawn, as well as a lot of self-production from Tate. "Don't Matter," which Tate co-produced with Millz Douglas, is one of the hardest but also most surprising tracks.

While it checks the box of shaking any car its played in, the song is also filled with unpredictable rhythms and flows, as Tate matches the flurried energy of the dancing synth line with his vocals. It inspires the same physical reaction as hits like Bobby Shmurda's "Hoy Boy" or Drake's "0 To 100," while playing to Tate's unique strengths at the same time. Do yourself a favor and listen to the rest of Tate's album here.

Quotable Lyrics:
Hang with the killas and apes, ooh
I used to sip on the Grey Goose
I do the shit that you can't do
I do the shit that you can't ah, ah, ah
Pockets on Harriet Tubman
