With the release date for Curren$y's next mixtape Fire In The Clouds fast approaching, the New Orleans rapper has released yet another pre-release track from the project on SoundCloud. Produced once again by Drupey Beatz, who has been proving himself to be a perfect collaborator for Spitta, the rapper is locked in -- delivering a rapidfire verse with no need for a hook. It's braggy and tough-talking in a way that we don't always hear from Curren$y, but something he reminds us he's pretty great at once in a while.
Fire In The Clouds, which will be produced entirely by Drupey, is set to be released on August 15th, the same day as Young Thug's Slime Language. "Specialist" follows the video for "Targa,"the video for "Targa," one of a few available records scheduled for the project.
Curren$y's last tape, The Marina, a collaboration with Harry Fraud, was released in May. Listen to it here.
