GoldLink's At What Cost was one of 2017's very best projects, partially due to its embrace of all things DMV. One of the best tracks on the collection was "Roll Call," a collaboration which was at first surprising, but ultimately made total sense. The two DMV natives have linked up once again, now for Mya's full-length TKO (The Knock Out) which was released 20 years after the singer's debut. On the breezy track, her experience is clear, but she also sounds comfortable next to GoldLink as she finds splits time between a rap-like flow and a floating falsetto. Meanwhile GoldLink sticks to what he does best gliding through the beat with his deceptively melodic raps. The track also features an obvious but well-incorporated sampel of Mary J. Blige's "My Life."

Mya's new album is produced almost entirely by Lamar "MyGuyMars" Edwards of 1500 Or Nothin, giving the album a cohesive sound throughout. You can stream the new album, which is the singer's eighth here. The project, like everything she's done since 2008, was executive-produced by Mya and released on her independent label Planet 9.

Quotable Lyrics:
I'm really feelin' different when I'm with you
I ain't the same
No, I ain't the same
I had to switch up all in your lane
You got me mixed up all in the brain
Oh, feel like I'm fallin'
