American Idol's newest judge, Lionel Richie, is not about his 19-year-old daughter, Sofia Richie, dating Kourtney Kardashian's former beau, Scott Disick.
"Have I been in shock?! I'm the dad, come on,” Lionel said to US Weekly when asked about the rumoured couple. “I’m scared to death, are you kidding me?”
Lionel's reaction is a clear answer to him not wanting his youngest child to be dating a 34-year-old. With no official yes or no to the two being in a relationship, it's obvious that they are really feeling each other as Sofia posts tons of pictures of the two up to all kinds of adventures via her Instagram story. There's even a video of the couple passionately kissing for an unknown celebration that had a plate reading "congratulations Scott and Sophia" written on it. Check posts below.
Scott is famously known for being the father of three children with Kourtney Kardashian. Throughout most of the seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Scott is depicted as being this party boy who's always out at clubs with different ladies at a time. Most of the past episodes show angry fights between Scott and Kourtney, where last season she told him he's got to finally move on from her. Clearly, he has.
A source close to the Kardashian family tells The Hollywood Life that Kourtney hopes this "fling" doesn't last.
“Kourtney hopes that this relationship is a fling at best and that he finds someone more his age range. She feels that Scott being with Sofia is only going to lead him down the same bad path he has been through with the partying, and she doesn’t want her kids to live without a father or [for Scott to] be a deadbeat," the source explains.
