Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn and Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban recently confirmed dating rumors, but they are in no rush to get engaged anytime soon. In regards to their relationship Vonn recently told US Weekly "this is not a Bieber situation," referencing the newly engaged Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin.
“This is not a Bieber situation,” the Olympic skier recently told US Weekly (H/T New York Post). “I’ve been married before, so we’re enjoying every moment.”
Vonn and Subban had been rumored to be dating for months, as she was spotted in the crowd watching one of Subban's games in April and in May they both posted photos from Fenway Park on Instagram. The two showed up the CMT Awards together last month and have been public about their relationship ever since.
Vonn, 33, was married to Thomas Vonn from 2007 to 2013, and tells US Weekly she and Subban are taking their time with everything. “We love each other very much, but there’s no reason to jump ahead and get ahead of yourself,” Vonn said. “We have plenty of time to figure everything out, so we’re just enjoying it.”
“He always just uplifts me, he’s always so positive,” Vonn continued, speaking of Subban. “Even though you love people, sometimes they don’t always make you better. And he makes me better.”
