Lil Yachty's rollout of Teenage Emotions, his new album, has definitely been eventful.
After stirring up controvery by implying you could blow into a cello on his track "Peek-A-Boo," Yachty insists he's not to blame. In a recent stop at Hot 97 on Ebro in the Morning, the cello line was brought up and it was revealed that, allegedly, "people said to [Yachty], 'you could just say a cello was a nickname for a dick.'"
Now, Yachty is saying that his A&R team told him to say that but he thought it made more sense "to just tell the truth." He also admitted that it was "[...] the wrong thing to do." This expanded into a long back-and-forth aboutconfusing lyrics in hip-hop, as well as his recent visit on Everyday Struggle and butting heads with Joe Budden.
