Lil Yachty was one of many speculated targets in J. Cole's two new songs "Everybody Dies" and "False Prophets," and he's already being asked about it. Unsurprisingly, he doesn't seem to care all too much about Cole's bars, tough he's not even sure they were intended for him.

"Especially the amateur eight-week rappers / Lil’ whatever, just another short bus rapper,” Cole raps on "Everybody Dies," a line fans immediately alerted Yachty to on social media.

"Yeah I heard it. It was cool," Yachty said in a quick interview with Power 106. "It flooded my shit. It was everywhere," he continued, but revealed, "I don't listen to J. Cole."

Yachty then brought up the point that the line could be about a great many rappers. "He said lil, I'm not little. My name has lil in it. But there's a lot of 'lil' rappers," he said, but conceded it's likely about either him or Lil Uzi Vert.

The Atlanta newcomer seemed pretty unfazed by the whole thing. "I fuck with J. Cole, bro," he said, though once again stressing, "I don't listen to him."

Eventually he did bring up that some early tweets where he said "Fuck J. Cole" could have triggered these bars. "Those tweets came out when I said those crazy things when I was 14," he said. "I was trollin'. I hope he doesn't feel any type of way."
