Lil Wop does not appeal to everybody. Certainly one of the most unique voices in all of hip-hop, the 1017 Eskimo signee can be quite a sharp listen at times. Going for a vampiric, supernatural vibe with much of his music, the young ATLien has been one of the most consistent artists in recent times. Dropping a handful of new songs last week, Lil Wopster is not slowing down, releasing another fresh cut in "Dark Luv."
While public opinion may have been unsure of his previous releases, "Dark Luv" is noticeably different from his regular sound. Much more flexible than his horror-laced tracks, "Dark Luv" details how his life has changed since making a name for himself. With Gucci Mane fully behind him, Wop looks poised to be the next out of the 1017 collective to get skyrocketed to the moon.
Everything changed when I came up
Everywhere I go they say I'm famous
With a bad b-tch, she don't speak no English
Fuck a Honda Civic I'ma pull up in a Range truck
