18-year-old Delaware rapper Lil West has been keeping up a steady output of new music over the last year, including Indigo 2, his collaborative tape with Elijah Wiley, and a selection of impressive loosies. Today, he returns with "Right Now," embracing the collaborative SoundCloud community once again as he links up with the fresh voice of 55 Bagz as well as producers 16 yr old, DJ Patt, and Dashel.
As with much of West's material, the record has a considerable knock to it, but also a sly melodic sense. West alternates between nimble rhythms and elongated, belted syllables, while 55 Bagz supplies some twirling auto-tuned runs.
