Lil West continues to flourish as he makes his mark. The experimental teenage rapper continues to build on the foundation of last year's LW17, stepping into the spotlight with a two part visual barrage. The visuals, which come courtesy of director Shane J Smith, are a study in juxtaposition; the intimate tone set by the introductory moments are a true red herring. In reality, the truth is far more horrific. With elements of trap, emo, electronica, and punk, West's musical palette is eclectic to say the least.

Needless to say, the two-pronged video for "bit my tongue now my mouth is bleeding" and "Marry Me" highlights a wide variety of West's myriad styles. While the clip remains well shot throughout, the highlight section is "Marry Me," with its adherence to a horror-film aesthetic. In fact, the track stems from West's upcoming EP with Dmac. It's cool to see West transition from out of the shadows; here's to another year of evolution.
